Survivors of the Srebrenica massacre are retracing the route they took while escaping Serbian forces in 1995.
Several thousand people have started a 85km march from Nezuk to Srebrenica, called the “March of Peace,” to retrace the route taken by Bosnian Muslims. Serbian forces murdered 8,000 Muslim men and boys in what was supposed to be a UN-protected enclave.
The participants in the march consisted of survivors of the Srebrenica massacre, as well as people from all parts of Bosnia and countries around the world.
